Dr. Jeffrey Phillips is a practicing primary care physician. He also serves as the Innovation Director for Primary Care and Ambulatory Services at Newton-Wellesley Hospital where he coordinates pilots and larger scale projects from the ideation stage through implementation. He has done work in and is passionate about virtual care, community oriented care, and prevention. He is the medical director for CHAMP (Community Health Mobile Program), which provides vital healthcare services to the Newton -Wellesley community outside of the 4 walls of the hospital or office. Dr. Phillips is also the founder and leader of "Wellness at WFCA", a 12-week Wellness Program for patients at his practice. Through this program, patients are taught the skills and tools they can implement to make meaningful, permanent lifestyle changes and health-positive habits. Dr. Phillips is passionate about using AI and technology to decrease clerical burden for healthcare providers and has run several pilots in this arena. Dr. Phillips also works with Partners Healthcare as the Clinical Consultant for the Innovation group.
Dr. Phillips is happiest when he is spending time with his two daughters and wife or exercising.
