Graeme has two decades of experience in fields including neurotechnology, neuroscience,
digital health, brain health, medical physics, scholarly publishing, medical devices, and data
He has helped established collaborations using Muse® technology in hundreds of brain
research labs and institutes around the world and has presented Muse®’s scientific and
educational work at international research meetings including the Society for Neuroscience, the
Society for Psychophysiological Research, Neuroinformatics, the International Conference on
Mobile Brain & Body Imaging, OECD Neurotechnology, and Advances in Meditation Research.
Prior to joining Muse®, Graeme served as Chief Scientist with Meta (now Chan-Zuckerberg
Meta), as Managing Editor of Frontiers in Neuroscience while it grew to become the largest
open access scholarly journal series in the field, and as a research engineer on cochlear
implants with Oticon Medical and the Centre national de la recherche scientifique in France. He
holds a BSc in physics from McMaster University and a PhD in neuroscience from Université
Aix-Marseille. Graeme is also a Senior Fellow of the Munk School of Public Policy (at the
University of Toronto).

how we can improve our understanding of brain health.
