Dr. Boudreaux is a clinical health psychologist with 20 years experience in Integrated Behavioral Health across a variety of settings, including emergency medicine, inpatient, and primary care. He specializes in successful implementation and sustainability of Integrated Behavioral Health through continuous quality improvement methods and enabling technologies. He approaches the challenge associated with solving seemingly intractable problems by working with interdisciplinary teams that have complimentary expertise and perspectives and by figuring out the right balance between human centered approaches and the use of technology to facilitate workflow. He works to modify healthcare systems in ways that support human need rather than the other way around and uses technology to accentuate human connectedness rather than promote alienation and isolation. Dr. Boudreaux is currently a Professor of Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry, and Quantitative Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. His PhD is from Louisiana State University where he studied health psychology, and he completed his internship at the Medical University of South Carolina where he further specialized in addiction treatment. He is licensed as a clinical psychologist in Massachusetts.
