CONNECTED HEALTH CONFERENCE • SAVE THE DATE • October 16-18, 2019 • Boston, MA
With increasing evidence that digital therapeutics can deliver real health outcomes, a framework is needed to validate digital health solutions, and to remove obstacles to adoption. This talk will outline efforts at Johns Hopkins Medicine and Applied Physics Laboratory to create and pilot a digital health validation framework. The talk will include a synopsis of developments in the industry that are laying the groundwork for digital formularies and will discuss the challenges of adopting these competing approaches. The JHU digital health validation framework was created to both leverage these on-going efforts and close gaps. Lessons learned from applying the framework will be discussed.
